Remember my rides on one of these , they felt quicker than my mate brand new 85 GSXR750 but I think that was because when it came onto the powerband it hit so hard it just took off which was excellent . Bugger all engine breaking as to be expected with a 2 stroker but a pretty good steering bike with ok brakes . Should have brought one when I was offered one to buy , but if we knew that then alot of different things would have been done LOL .Great looking bike still

Have to agree with the comment on engine braking... very little.

I ride my 1135 kat and then hop on the RG and the first thig that hits home is no engine braking in coners... I found myself breaking in to coners....LOL then you get used to it and maintain corner speed it ok.
My Kat was a 750 until I repowered it... now both are fun to ride.

Next for the Kat is a 1260 kit..... will be a while after spending $1700 building wide spoke rims.... just about doubled the cost of the bike LOL
    One for the road...

£7,000. Just under $15,000 + how much to ship it to NZ?

They certainly have gone up in price, although I think he is optimistic. OTOH, it only takes one lotto winner...
You want a good one - the parts bill for mine when I can afford it is over $6500 for the motor. It is still in a box...

Makes me laugh that people ask good $$ for a bike/car/house/aroplane/whatever, yet take photos of it with their cellphone.
