i don't think his bike is the "g" model its later h model, they have had 3 basic series from 80-84 was the g 85-96 was the h and 96-2002 was the j, there wern't too many changes with the bikes so i dare say you could use a g manual for them all

wanted....service manual for yamaha sr250 1985, I know I can dl it from the net,but I would like the book if possible,as I can hardly read the writing on the puter,once I dl it.
I am on my wits end,been trying everywhere to get hold of a service manual for this bike,clymer,hayes,techbooks, yamaha nz,yamaha au, where else can I try,please,anybody,I know I can dl one,but I really would like a book as I can carry that around with me, TIAand anyway,when I dl it,I cant read it very well anyway, and it is not complete.

For the motor, you will have to try other bikes that share that engine- SRX maybe?
Basic specs for it will be on the UK SRX website. The cycle parts should be straightforward. What exactly do you need to know?
