    Payout for a police pasting

......Nothing worse than a dodgy copper!

    http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/man-...cident-3435011

"The law has come down on the side of a man beaten and pepper sprayed by police.
A High Court judge has found Whakatane police subjected Rawiri Falwasser to an excessive abuse of power and breached his human rights during an incident in a cell in 2006.
It is the end of a four year fight by the Falwasser family. They had wanted $200,000 in damages but on Friday Justice Stevens awarded Falwasser $30,000 for his seven hours in the Whakatane police cells.
There is little dispute over what happened to Falwasser on Labour Day 2006 as CCTV footage captured it all."

Um, have you seen the video? From memory they were just trying to subdue the fucken assbag. He kept on resisting so they kept spraying him until they could get in. Then he gets paid out for it. What a great day for N.Z crimminals. Good on you supporting the trash of this country though. How dare the cops do their job.

Just watched the video again. The guy was obviously on drugs. I think he deserved it looking at the way he was acting.

The NZ justice system disagrees with you and awarded the sprayed and beaten man 30K.

Yep. It usually has an open wallet and a sympathetic ear for these pieces of shit. Not really surprised. Next they'll be paying out those Waihopai terrorists, the N.Z justice system also sided with these crimminals. They knew what they were doing was illegal. They admitted doing it. But not guilty. Welcome to N.Z.

Who needs the foreign Legion anymore just move here and you're sweet.

Irrespective of his attitude or state of mind what they (members of Constabulary) did was unprofessional and unwarranted and completely unjustifiable, even more so if he was a little 1M. Even the CATT team acted irresponsibly based off what has been reported and documented. Believe me there are better ways of dealing with individuals acting in this manor or displaying unnatural behavioural traits.

Yes. Somebody please think of the crimminals.........the story was reported much, much differently at the time. NOtice the article did'nt at all describe why they were spraying him?! I remember watching the original story and did'nt think anything of it.

The New Zealand justice system also believes that paroling murderers and paedophiles is a good idea. After their 3 year sentences, of course
