A SNORE FREE ZONE is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
We have one bed single bed left and a double foldout in the lounge in a self contained motel unit at the venue - going.....going.....
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

well the hard decision has been made, after getting out of hospital last friday I realistically am not going to be able to ride my bike up there this friday, or enjoy the weekend like I would have preferred so decided to pull the pin

for anyone seeking accomodation the motel will have a self contained unit available (the last one I understand) so get in quick

have fun guys & take it easy look forward to all the pics & so forth

Totally agree. Better to get yourself sorted than hang out with a bunch of boozy bikers. Get well soon

Just in case there are still other people waiting to see what the weather is doing before committing, I thought a register of available accommodation may be useful. There have been a few messages, but perhaps we can group them. Duck, do you still have a spare?

    I'll start.

I think Pumba will be going the 'better way down' (aka avoiding the main roads) but the plan is to do the Forgotten Highway on the Sunday as a group effort.

Ok so what's the plan.. who's meeting up when... I am free to leave from any time after about midday myself. PUmba you going down the interesting way???? When ya leaving.

BTW.. heard on the radio tonight the police are taking a zero tolerance this weekend.. they said they would ticket anyone 4kph over the limit...... so guess they will all be busy when we pass them

Be terribly sad if the road toll goes up as a result of this policy.
Empirical evidence seems to suggest that it should.
I think the chief piglet should put his job on the line and resign if it does.

    Come in Patrick.... Your turn.

I guess you won't be coming to the KB rally. You will be too busy up a tree somewhere.
We may come to the Naki.and visit . Enjoy some of that sunshine you are always spouting off about.
Please wave if you see us.
