Will be travelling at a comfy pace. Qkkid wont be meeting us at the Autobarn but plans on catching us up on the way south. I think Fran is riding two-up and Kiwi Graham will be as well. I find Nurofen Plus helps with the aches and pains and the codine lifts the 'down in the dumps'.

Cool thanks for that. Yeah im on neurofen every 4 hours and panadol the alternating 4 hours, plus kaloba for immune support and otravine to keep the nose and sinus clear, and get rid of the headache. I'm feeling fantastic now

Undecided to wash the bike or not - it will only get covered in filth anyway but it does need a bit of TLC .........

We may be running late, so if we are not at BP autobahn, dont hang around for us, we will just cruise on down at our pace, have got a few things to sort, and might not have quite enough time........but hopefully see you all at BP, otherwise, see you in Turangi

    165 km – about 5 hours 20 mins
    203 km – about 4 hours 6 mins

    That's no good.You won't get there until ????????

Because I am feed up with the western access. It is a boring road bellow 140kph and we cant do that this weekend, and that is a fun bit of Road I suggested (more km's too)

Dont agree with Qiune Rd, its a bit shitty, also would prefer to dodge the straights through maramaru forest, and come round the back. But in general ther are some good alternatives.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Everything is going according to plan... wait... I was supposed to be south of Te Kuiti by now, and actually be packed...

Well, I do have my sleeping bag in its bag... not much more left

From the phone call I received this afternoon, it seems two of the guys had a little less fun trhan was anticipated. Hope you're both good now, and I'm really, really sorry that I had no access to a recovery trailer fellas!!!

Me and Haze managed to do our regular, and had an absolute ball last night. Slightly intoxicated, but I do have a reputation to uphold. I'd like to extend a huge well done to Qkchk on suggesting the change of venue. I don't think we've ever stayed in a site with such a relaxed and accomodating host. As for the hot pools, bloody maaaarvelous, and true to my own high standards, managed to get Steve out before he drowned, and made it as last man soaking..
I would just likje to point out at this early juncture, that despite what may be later posted, I was a reluctant participant in the wet towel whipping......

Oh, and chaps and chapesses, Haze lost a black Stereophonics t-shirt at some point in the evening. We think it was by the pool.
If it turns up, could you let me know please, and we'll sort out delivery/collection/postage costs.
Cheers, to all who's company I was graced with. if I don't see you before, see you for the Saturday night next year.

yep, the two guys were brought back to accommodation, one ridable, the other has found himself a spare bike to "enjoy", while its rider has had an experience very much around his bed while in Tokaanu
