Hopefully you will get to grow up and learn something before you get into serious strife. We were all young and stupid once, but most of us grew up despite our best efforts to stuff up our own lives.

Drugs are about the dumbest thing you can do.
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

    Being a single parent sux!

I'm thinking, that he is pushing some boundaries and needs for you to stand firm and not allow him to speak to you in that manner, he does, he doesn't eat. and they are never to big to lose their TV or even the clothes that you've provided for him.
My son now 23, went a bit like this at college, not a kid but not a man, and so not sure of their place in the world. Oh and let's not forget how much that little hottie can screw up his brain without even communicating with him. Oh and those hardons he get during class because the hot teacher's butt moves nicely in her skirt. The poor teenagers, so much going on and so much confusion.

Give him more responsibility, don't do as much for him. If he wishes to start yelling at you , leave the room. You do not have to listen to him, best response is no response.

Or you could go put some lipstick on, give him a big kiss and dont tell him what you've left on his cheek.

Ian Grant wrote a book "the white water rafting years", oh so true, you need to just hang on for the ride sometimes, pick your battles very carefully and after maybe 4 years you will get your wonderful son back. Mine is now fantastic...again.

Being a single parent...is Fantastic and at the end of the day you will do it your way.

All the best, oh you could try buying that book, it has some invaluable stuff in it.

No the dumbest thing would be the unbearable shame caused by un protected anal sex with strangers, but that's a different kettle of fish altogether..

Ma'am my parents always used a 3 strike kind of system. !st time you get asked to do something, 2nd time you get told, 3rd time the consequences rain down and don't let up until my ways were mended.. I hardly ever fucked either one of them off..

Consequences may include - no money, no extras with the groceries, make him do his own laundry, no weed, cut off internet etc.. Stick to it..

That is true. That is good advice.

He's a bolshy teenager know all, lazy c**t bastard.... paraphrasing my poor, poor, poor... poor poor poor... step mother of course... She was the best thing that coulda happened to me at the time as I was starting to hole walls and things... she showed me fury... exactly what I was feeling at the time... it's always funny to look back... She stood toe to toe with me and told me to get a fuckin job... and a slagging match of epic proportions erupted... no violence, just pure verbal rage... I really don't remember too much about it... but she did... and just to prove her wrong, I went and did it... (she still allowed me to use the house for washing etc... and became a very good friend...)... but then we are all different.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

The real man doesn't take advantage of you, he helps configure your "FUCKHEAD" by taking him out to do man things that keep him happy and respectful to his Mother.
    My 5 cents worth bonnie!

This is good advice but unfortunately, at 16 he's probably a bit past wanting a father figure.
