Here's one to ruin anyones cherished memories of Star Wars - my son has acquired (from goodness only knows where) the "Star wars special" movie, complete with appearances from the youthful Mark Hamil, Carrie Fisher etc. Along with 'nostalgia critic' ("thatguywiththeglasses") review of it. The "special" is gob-smackingly horrendous, the review is hilarious.

also watched last night while son's computer was linked up to the tv his download of nostagia critics review of some mindbogglingly bad movie called "The Room" written produced and starring some gutwrenchingly dreadful man. But again, the review itself was so funny I nearly peed several times.

    Antichrist

Some amazing shots and sequences, but pretty fucked up

Not sure if most of it is for shock value, didn't really realise why it was R18 until near the end (and its definitely deserved!)

Me too, no way with all his supposed expertise that he wouldn't have had the tunnel and shed rigged to let him know that someone was in there or been there

Let's just say eating domestic animals is easier to stomach EJ, ohhh can't spoil it... can I?

oh to slow too answer, mainly this couple are having sex when their baby falls out of a window and dies... so sex now is like a punishment/resentment.. I only watched the sick parts so missed the whole story line

You might not want to read this.....

I think the chic thinks she is inherently evil, as she let her kid fall out the window and die because she was in the middle of an orgasm

So sex is a way out but makes her feel guilt too...

Apart from all the close up sex and the chic franticly going at herself in the forest the worst bits start when she is attacking him, trying to have sex (a common theme) and she flips out and grabs a massive bit of wood and smashes his dick with it, he is knocked out cold then she proceeds to beat him off and he comes blood.

She then drills a hole in his leg and puts a big weight in it so he cant leave her

Later on he wont kill her so she cuts her clitoris off with a pair of scissors (of which you get a lovely close up) and he strangles her in the end

If you can get past the brutality at the end (most of it isn't that bad if you don't mind a bit of sex) its a kinda interesting portrayal of chaos and order and the male/female roles in it

I just watched law abiding citizen

I didn't expect anything more than some mindless action, which I very much needed after a big night!

It was all good, and exactly what a expected.....

I loved it when he says to the judge 'I bet you take it up the ass' hahaha

Some of my all time favourites:

    Yeah - Gran Torino
Straw Dogs, Dustin Hoffman as the mild mannered husband of Susan George, final five minutes makes you shudder
Big Chill, mainly for the "my generation" music
Love Actually, soppy, predictable, but enjoyable - Love Colin!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl who Played with Fire - even in Swedish with sub-titles really thrilling (and relatively close to the books),
Bullit - just for the car chase

Jeebus! Some of you guys watch some weird stuff don't you?
But anyway, I thought "Hard Candy" or "Hostel Pt. 1 & 2" were like the worst movies ever (What's seen cannot be unseen). Guess I havn't seen anything yet...
