Is it way better than the second one. I felt insurgent was a let down and padded a bit compared to the awesomeness of divergent.

    stretch
    crackup. well executed. 8/10. recommend

i feel the need to use the word piquant in a sentence, so one of you cunts needs to recommend me a fucking piquant movie.
Watched stretch last night, was ok and some cool bits but could have been a bit more epic somewhere.....

Not sure of mentioned here already but showed some guys at work the trailer for Kill me three times.
    Great aussie black comedy.

Watched Pitch Black again (4-5-6 times?)

    Still epic.

Opening crash landing on full high def, decent soundbar wound up high.

    Good shit.

Even Vin Diesel performs - part suits his acting, ah. skills.

Second movie is a visual treat but relies on it's graphics, whereas the first movie is basic in design but works extremely well in application.

If you like a bit of Si-Fi visit either.

I think they've greenlit RIDDICK 3 with Mark Vincent attached. So you have that to look forward to, which is nice.

CRIMSON PEAK. Tom Hiddlestone, Mia Wasikovska (sp?) and Jessica Chastaine. Guillermo Del Toro does bodice ripping (actual, in one point) gothic-y horror. I dont really do horror but had a good time with this. No boobs but some gruesome gore bits, had a good time.

on TV we are watching DETECTORISTS.

+1... they seemed to get progressively worse, although I'd rank the second one up there pretty close with Pitch Black. That 3rd one was, well, it had tits in it and that was the highlight.

Yeah, the second one had a decent storyline but too many subplots that often never went anywhere.

Kungfu Panda 3 - 6/10. Disappointing, but doubt they coulda done any more with the story line... which kinda tags in with middle daughter wondering why they bothered to make it in the first place.

    I remember.

    Moonwalker. with Mickey J.

i dont know if the cunt was on acid, but that's about the only way to watch this pederast shit. dancing claymation rabbit was cool. the rest: meh.
    2/10

    The maze runner

presumably targeted at short people, due to the lack of swears. neat concept, poor execution. about 2 neat images. not worth it.
    4/10

The Invitation - Not great and not bad just different. Best not to read the plot or synopsis and just put it on. 7/10

Dirty Grandpa - Pretty crass with a few laughs here and there. Efron and De Niro are pretty good together. Another cookie cutter Yank comedy. 6/10

Ditto on the Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. The second one I really enjoy and can watch again and again.

Yes, quite the visual treat - something new each time. Must have cost a shit load to make.

    Jungle Book - 10/10

One of the best movies I have ever seen. The best CGI I have ever seen.

Which reminds me The Life of Pi was most excellent. Stunning visuals. Excellent story line. Great acting. Worth several watches on full high deff large screen tv.
