    Here are the requirements
    1. Must be scary, not gory (like Conjuring 2, Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Activity. No blood and violence gut spewing type horror)
    2. Actors are smart. I.e. Stupid bitch and dumb ass actors running towards the mysterious sound and gets themselves killed e.g. Scream series, Final Destination series, Wax house etc. No fucking idiot actors.
    3. Must be actually well made, like "Oh, that film was actually pretty well made! Not bad..." type of feedback.

    Go.
have a go on occulus. That was the last one i saw so fresh to mind.

Not reeeeaaally scary, but very well done.
If you want really scary, watch tv1 at 6pm.
Or parliament tv, with the knowledge that you and the rest of the country are supporting those infantile beneficiaries. THAT shit's scary.

    wristcutters a love story.

This is so fucking indie, and not a little bit emo, and i really want to dislike it, but it's gnawing away at my mind like a carnivorous earwig.

Im trying to come up with an original metaphor for slow burning... It's like... Watching battery acid burn through your hand. It tickles, it hurts a bit, but watching it seems like a better idea than washing it off.

Engaging cinema, great characters (except that mop that covers half the lead's face, that thing is heinous). Original, in execution if not plot, which in this age is surprising.

    T&a:0, car chases:0, guns:0

Somehow, recommend. THIS may qualify for piquant.
Score.... 8/10. Gratuitous nudity and a fuck scene wouldn't have killed it.

Try The Haunting in Connecticut. knowing it is based on a true story makes it creepier. First viewing gave me a couple of 'raise the hairs on your neck' experience. Not had that in a movie for a long time. Turn off the lights pump up the volume and enjoy.

    The Count of Monte Cristo

One of those movies that I always go back to. I was watching it thinking is this the guy from Superman but that'd make him 40+ then Henry Cavill turns up as Edmond's son halfway through.

    A real feel good film.

    8/10

Deadpool by far the best movie I have seen in a while... the opening credits set the scene , but this scene alone was enough to make me wee

No body move... I dropped my brain

Who caught the latest episode of Game of Thrones? That was the greatest hour of television I've seen.

Yep - I read the plot lines, looked at the ahem 'stars' and wrote it off waiting for a KB review. You have sealed it for me.

The original was awesome. I may watch it again (lost count now!)

The battle scene was pretty intense - and the ending - wow.

    movie suggestion

The Conjuring 2 - a horror movie done right, I think it's better than the first.

Finding Dory - pixar family movies are all good, Dory is no different and was better than I expected

Cell - based on a stephen king novel, stars Samuel L Jackson, but it's laughably awful.

Agree, it was enjoyable to watch. Quite actually well made! Did make me jump scare a couple of times.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
