I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

    Flash of Genius

Based on the true story, a heart touching movie. Well worth the watch for those into law, engineering, automotive or anyone who has grudge against the Ford Motor Company.

Note: The movie is like A Beautiful Mind (2001)

    8.5/10

Watched The Town last night. Not a bad movie, was expecting a full on action but it is 50% action 50% romance/drama. So if you go in expecting that it's a decent movie. 7/10

Also watched The Good Guys. Had very low expectations but was pleasantly surprised how funny some parts were. They did go a bit far in a few scenes though. 7.5/10

I saw The Tourist with Jolie and Depp, I thought it was quite average eh. Sometimes it moved so fucking slowly and it was all about Jolie's tits and arse (nothing wrong with that) but that alone doesn't make that movie worth going to the movies to watch it.

Hey personal opinions . I'm just suprised that two top stars' movie has such low rating.

check out LITTLE FOCKERS: Its got Robert DeNiro and a bunch of A and B listers, and its at 10% !!

Ive done fuck all but watch movies this holidays. Seen THE PRINCESS BRIDE (which I liked a lot) and PITCH BLACK and CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK (both barely watchable, particularly in light of the Mark Vincent/Vin Diesel (Vin Diesel? really? thats your stage name? Vin fucking Diesel?)

also GET SMART (I'll watch anything with Anne Hathaway pretty much) which was a bit lame but watchable enough. I had had a couple of beers too which made it better-er.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND. I didnt attend at the movies thinking it would be lame. It isn't. It is in fact really good.

PULP FICTION. Probably my favourite movie of all.

STAR TREK 2: THE WRATH OF KHAN. Definitely my favourite original crew movie. (well its a tossup between this and ST6:TUC)

Now working my way through THE MIGHTY BOOSH boxset. Awesomeness ensues.

    The Spirit

I don't generally turn off my DVD player while watching unless I have to go out somewhere urgently.
Bland introduction and weary music turned me off.

No rating. Didn't finish the movie.

If you want to see a decent series that hasn't hit NZ tele yet (as far as I know), then check out The Walking Dead.

Agreed. Do you reckon they'll broadcast it over hear with it's high level of gore?

    I hope they're making a follow on.

Certainly it's not as gory as Spartacus: Blood and Sex Sand?

Probably, wasn't a whole lot worse than True Blood I thought, Prime will probably pick it up.
I hope they make a second series too, I thought they left it open-ended enough to do so.
