    Sorry not seen Catfish.

Body of Lies: Clever high-tech military thriller. DiCaprio fans must check out
    7.0/10

Collateral: Ingenious action thriller. This is the birth of Jamie Foxx. With touch of Cruise's ice-cold hitman act, this makes it one of my personal favourites.

P.S. I learnt many of my English phrases from this movie.

    9.5/10

Tekken: Waste of time. But good action choreography.
    2/10

Paranormal Activity 2: If you liked the first one, then you might like this one too.

    4.5/10

Not as tense as the first one.

007: Die Another Day: This is what James Bond should've been. Ultimate high sci-fi entertainment value with no brainer with witty lines.

    Enjoyable. Not great but enjoyable.

    7.5/10

    Hitman (2007)

Movies which are based on videogames aren't successful (and vice versa), and this is just another example. It has heaped tablespoon of entertainment tho.

A modern version of 90's-type mediocre action film (cheesy lines, bulletproof hero, brainless and so on).

    4.0/10

True Grit - 9/10, great movie, not quite JW, but there or there abouts.

State Of Play - 9/10, a twisty turny twist some more movie... the agenda is kinda scarey.

Saw this for the first time last week. Agreed with the 9. I'd almost round it up to 9.5

Probably helps if you're slightly crazy

Shutter Island is something you can only watch once until you forget what happens. I watched it a second time and it lost all of its appeal.

Hitman wasn't that bad! Would give it a solid 6

Watched "Lawnmower Man" again for the first time in a long time. Classic SF. Loved it.

Lawnmower man (the movie) was so far removed from Lawnmower man (the book) that Steven King made them take his name off it. About the only thing in common was the title.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

    Die Hard 4.0 (2007)

Breezing, fresh air of a clean-sweep action film wrapped with clever high-tech computer hacking stuff. Good ol "yippee ki yay mofo" modernised, and quite well done too.

Yippee ki-yay, m***** f*****. Need to say more?

    8.0/10

First saw the trailer then the movie (just now).

Wow, I thought it would be like a horror film or a documentary. I thought it was about something like luring a guy using with many attractive facebook accounts to do him in the ass inside the barn or something (that's what the trailer gave the impression of).

Overall it's an okay documentary (with a shocking twist and the hard ugly truth towards the end).

First of all, I really HATE liars.
Hence personally, the doco disgusted me.

    N/A rating.

    American Gangster (2007)

Superb. Packed with as much firepower and caliber as the all time classic's Scarface (1983). Denzel Washington is what you saw from Training Day (2001). Absolutely powerful, crisp cool and solid. This is on top five of my personal favourites (rank 2nd, below Schindler's List 1993).

This is Ridley Scott's masterpiece. The Best.

    9.5/10

I was a little ho-hum on American Gangster. Goodfellas is my favourite gangster movie, though i was pleasantly surprised recently by Public Enemies (with Johnny Depp).

Night of the Living Dead - I watched the George A Romero's original 1968 zombie movie (in b&w) last night. While it is dated and isn't overly scary today, you can easily see how much of an impact it would have had back in the day, and it is still worth a watch. 6/10 on current standards, 9/10 when you factor in it's age and originality.

On a side note, it's interesting how desensitised we are to these old horror (and violent) movies. I'm interested (and not overly enthusiastic) to see how such movies will be in another 30 years when we look back and think Saw, Hostel etc are tame.

ps - bring on Return of the Living Dead! Braaiiiiinsss......

I give BLACK SWAN 7.5/10. You can appreciate it even if you couldnt care less about ballet, interesting cast of charaters, and the plot keeps you guessing...

Watched RUN LOLA RUN for the first time last night, give it 8/10
    Black swan was amazing
Run Lola run is good even though I did it in high school

'chloe' was pretty good Liam neison and julianne Moore.
Oh watched that one the other night with Ed norton in prison, was ok, not that great. Milla jovovich was good though.
    Resident evil 3(?) was shite!
Oh I watched sweet karma, sounds bad but is ok this mute girl goes on a killing rampage. You get to see her in white underwear and her boobs which is reason enough to watch it

Dude I think I'm your movie nemesis. Just watched this and would give it an 7.8/10. Wasn't as satisfyingly revengful as I hoped but made me remember the bits of the UK i didn't like and thought it was a great performance by "my names michael caine, not many people know that".
