A dee-vee-dee rental store! Weekly movies are $1 each (cept for those new and recent released ones).

I found it cheaper to rent than download.

    Starship Troopers (1997)

Overall the film is pretty rubbish but it's got some rocket-packed entertainment value. Lots of aliens, guns, shooting and killing. Quaint but worth the watch. It was my highschool favourite.

Cheese. Absolute Spaceship-Sci-Fi cheese. But it's a tasty cheese, a very tasty cheese.

5.5/10 for General Films rating, but rates 8.0/10 for Entertainment Films Rating.

On A Personal Note: This wasn't a Random Pick Review. I needed an evening entertainment to go with my dinner.

Starship Troopers was amazing. At least an 8 for it's social commentaries from Paul Ver Hoven.

Subsequent sequels were shithouse though, with none of the redeeming features of the original.

In light of all the shite I've been watching this was really good!
Willem dafoe, jeff goldblum and a story about a genius ex comedian/magician turn holocaust survivor

I originally was thinking 8/10 but I don't know if it's because I've watched so much crap lately??

    Sunshine (2007)

A brilliant science fiction plus thriller. Excellent storytelling and illustration, flawless delivery of suspensefulness and creeping thrills. I really enjoyed this non-stop, full on the edge thriller. Havn't seen much like this actually.

    Brilliant, just brilliant. Highly recommended.

    8.5/10

The movie was shithouse and turned a good book into a c grade comedy

    Oh yes, this was awesome
Made in 78, it's easy to see why it was pretty controversial

    Hook (1991)

A decent film for both children and adults. This film reminded me of my childhood dreams. This film is full of early 90's childhood's imagination and creation, and it presents and delivers sublimely. However as a general film, it is pretty mediocre. But, as a children's film, it is bright and enjoyable (when compared to a modern children's imaginative film i.e. The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, which was total pile of C).

    Vulnerant omnes, ultima necat.

    7.0/10

    On A Personal Note:
    *Don't forget John Williams.
*Dustin Hoffman played his part quite well IMO.

It was okay but one of those movies easily forgotten...Oh I did love the music though...The version of White Rabbit was good...(origionally done by Jefferson airplane of corse)

fair enough. i do believe the soundtrack really made the movie. not saying its the best movie either but didn't feel like wasted money
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

    The Fly (1986)

Noticeably good acting and costume & make up. Many critiques rate it very high but unfortunately I have a different point of view.
Would I recommend it to my friends? Errr... No.
Will I see it again?.... Once was enough for me thanks, no.

Smooth flowing, shocking and dramatic horror film. Yeah be afriad, very afraid.
