Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)

Brilliant, amazing, fantastic... Highly recommended. CGI is absolutely flawless. I loved the very subtle relation to the original film (won't spoil it.... much) where a newspaper frontpage showing the lost mission to Mars. You will know when you see it.

Watch it! Just watch it, really it's that good.

    8.5/10

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Cowboys and Aliens... oh dear that wasn't what I expected. Crammed full of wet dialogue and as thrilling as watching my mum ironing my undies... 5/10... it's watchable, no more, no less.

Quite liked this movie. Not much to say about it though. Girlfriend compared it to "moon" (so she hated it) but these are the sort of movies i like. Worth a watch!

Suppose i should say its about 8 people flying a bomb into the sun to give it a kick start!

    How To Train Your Dragon

animated, definately aimed at kids, so I thouroughly enjoyed it 8/10. Great story, likeable characters, smart script and plenty of laughs, even when nothing has been said... I particularly enjoyed the fact that none of the Dragons spoke ...

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

    Hanna

16 year old girl kills deer in snowy north, then has big fist fight with father, then father and daughter seperate planning to meet later on, then girl despatches lots of people, (dad does his share too) they meet up and despatch more people. (spoiler alert) girl despatches main baddy The end.

If you enjoy teenage girls killing bad people this is the movie for you. I enjoyed it. +brilliant soundtrack by the Chemical Brothers

Yeh I'd give How to Train Your Dragon about an 8 too.

Just watched golden compass, books were better, but still watchable; the Svalbard Bears raise it from a 6 to a 7.

Wall-E... heh, gotta say I do like this movie... interesting characters, plenty of humour and a depiction of the human race as it is ... 9/10

Sucker Punch... not too sure what to make of it. Stunning visuals though (no not the ladies and what they're almost wearing, although ), sort of starts off slowly, blips into another world that lost me, eventually making sense... interesting film, well put together and very nearly fromage free. 7.5/10

Unknown... meh, I've seen most of the ideas before in one fashion or another, but it does keep you wondering about what's truly going on. 7.5/10

The kids are doing this video to death and I'm enjoying it as well.
Another Pixar serving, with superb character creations, laughs and entertainment!

    9/10.

Green lantern kind of cool, 7.5/10

Impressed by the fact that finally a silly little mask didn't confuse everyone as to the identity
