    Warrior

Well after, decades of watching movies, I absolutely recommend a recent release "Warrior' the local Lads at our Video store have been telling me I must watch this movie, their pick of the year.

So tonight the teenage daughters were out, wife distracted, I'm buggered from work, seriously knocking back the wine-o, so gave in and took it home. What Rocky did in the 1980s to say boxing movies can be worth watching, Warrior takes it up mega fold.

I have liked Nick Nolte throughout his career but tonight he excelled. Only a supporting role but this movie is absolutely the bees knees in emotional drama, action and total WOW! Blown away, must tell the guys at the shop.. well done. Leaped to one of my all time most enjoyable movies

In case you are lost it's about two troubled brothers, their horrible upbringing by a drunk Father/fighter trainer and caged ring fighting, but the story is much more than the fighting. Please give it a chance, watch it! Enjoy!
ps- I'm pissed and have spented more time checking my typing than typing

    edit- Ok, typo's fixed

Fuck me. I loved this movie when I first saw it, and watching it again was like taking a big gob full of drugs - you get nervous as hell about how it's going to make you feel, but you're pretty sure it'll be intense.

I'm not even going to review it because I can't. But if you want a heavy but awesome movie then check this out if you haven't already.

8.5 on the IMDB scale (Top # 65 movie).

    Do it.
Funny because most people who love that movie I have similar taste to, but I just cant love it....I understand its a horrifying/shocking movie and it really makes you feel that way so its done well but just made a little depressed to be honest

They got the mood (very noir-ish) of a lot of the 70's films I love absolutely right: DRIVE is a future classic I think.
    Love love loved drive!!

I dunno what it was but loved it
Ryan Gosling was incredible in his part... convincing and little scary, the quiet ones are always the scariest!

we rented LEON at the weekend: saw it at the pictures when it came out. Still amazingly good, and there was a lot of stuff in it I had forgotten. Natalie Portman's best ever role, and Jean Reno doing what he does: this is the basis of a lot of the great 90's action films (RONIN, particularly). and of course he was in the only really watchable MISSION IMPOSSIBLE reboot. And of course Besson wrote TAKEN.

    anyway 10/10.
