Go in with low expectations and don't try to analyse it too much and expect plenty of action and you'll probably enjoy it, I did.
    As good as the original?

    even a bit less.
story is boring, acting awful, the scenes are mix of something seen already, and, be true: the neon light tree could be funny, but the grass that lights up when you pound it is way over any boundary...
Have you ever seen the phosphorescence that glows when you stir sea water with a stick? Same thing as grass that lights up when disturbed...

It's set on a different planet. I'd throw the movie an 8/10. I saw it in 3D, then 2D... Yes the story has been a little Americanised and as per usual the humans are fucking things up... but the story isn't that unrealistic and neither are the "oddities" in it... each to their own I guess... I reckon Avatar has more common day truisms than most movies...

I must have seen 2 completely different films... similar to Shooter... are you out of your mind... Shooter would pretty much rate a 9.4 in my book and that's because Marky's butch swagger just cracks me up...

And i'd give 5/10 for Green Zone: Reminded me of Ghost Recon... all those little politicalismsms videos in between shoot em up bits.

went to see clash of the titans in 3d. shelled out 18.50 for a ticket.
wore the 3d glasses that hurt your face.
its not really "action packed". its more a movie for fudge packers. the final action scene showdown takes 5 mins, so don't blink.
the guy from avatar makes a slightly better demigod hero than "orlando bloom" in kingdom of heaven. but only just.....
I think orlando forgot he wasn't filming "brokeback mountain", which absolutely should have starred him, from what i hear, (i havent seen it).
noway is clash better than the original. i like all the old school mythology movies.
nope, once you have seen brad pitts demigod character "archilles" in troy, you realise it will be a long time before anyone can beat that.

i have to agree with that.
troy was horrid, but pitt was in "his" character in that film. his performance was perfect (way better than his mediocrity)...

im sick of all the cheap crap arse movies out today..... can any one recommend a good movie which actually requires me to think, unlike 99.999999999999% of American programs, and more than likely have to watch it more than once to fully understand!

i quite liked no country for old men... 7/10
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Legion: 3/10. American movie where three families go through hell in a remote diner fighting angels with wings with machine guns, and trailer park girl has baby and trailer park boy gets trailer park girl and they stand on hill and watch sun come up. Does actually have some alien-type neck biting, and angel grandma scene is funny as fuck, but you can watch that here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh448wMvAE4 Warning: don't show this to little kiddies.

Hurt Locker 7/10. Story about a military bomb disposal expert working in hostile territory. Small amount of action but a good story. Corny ending. Not much gore. I'd watch it again. A good story.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
