Do not watch if you are easily offended by the use of the N word.
    8/10
Loved it. The interaction between Samuel and Leonardo was hysterical. Christophe Waltz was as good as ever.

    8.5/10 from me.

Dredd 7/10. It was a better splatter flick movie than I thought it was going to be. Kind of Dawn of the dead meets Judge Judy.

There was one bit that alludes to his size, but if you didn't know (you fuckin spoilers know who yar) you'd be scratching your head over the conversation. Either way, a highly enjoyable movie. Mumsy, as an avid fan of the books, was happy enough with the movie too.
I'm a fan of the books, it is extremely rare to find a movie that measures up with the book version and this was no exception.
Having said that I enjoyed this movie for entertainment value and would go along with the mashman summary.
Soccer - A Gentlemans game played by Hooligans. Rugby - A Hooligans Game played by Gentlemen.

I wouldn't put it at a 9, but very enjoyable none the less.

    Also, Looper.
    Eminenently watchable.
An 8:10 (possibly a bit generous however).

act of valour had a few cool scenes, but was mainly america-hoo-rah wank.

    hanna was awesome

charlie and the chocolate factory (gene wilder version) continues to be awesome. 71 i think it was. fucken ayye.

    chopper continues to amuse.

there's a few that i really want to remember what were, but i spent too much time taking drugs...
one that i described as a "comedy-horror, kindof action romance, drama sci-fi" and it wasn't tarantino, most of whose films i deplore.

    again, hanna was awesome.

    i'll smoke on it...

    -edit-
inception was brilliant, avatar needs a big screen but very, very cool.,

and usually you and I agree fairly broadly on films. I thought it was excellent. Perhaps a little predictable and a bit maudlin in parts, but the payoff is Caine's performance which is brilliant. The violence was generally fairly shocking and it ended fairly well. I gave it a solid 8.5. Would have been a movie of the week with a lesser actor in the title role.

    "Company of Heroes":

Poor in comparison to similar war movies/series' like Band of Brothers. Bloody one liners - US Style!
