The Rock - 8.0/10. Spectacular full-action fun for a 14 year old film. Enjoyable.

The Losers... meh had it's moments, but kinda missed the spot following a promising start... 6/10...

Clash Of The Titans (the new one)... made the old one look stunning... toooo hollywoody and touchy feely... 5/10... can't wait for the sequel

The Book of Eli... enjoyed the soundtrack, it certainly helped the movie... kinda art housy, well filmed... coulda done more with it, but 7.5/10
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

No country for old men; simple plot, but surprisingly enjoyable-8/10
Avatar 3D; too long, glasses gave me a headache and eye strain, would only want to see air/space battle part again-5/10
District 9; not bad, bit different-7/10
Star Trek (beginning); surprisingly good, great 'young Spock' match, Leonard Nimoy guesting great-7.5/10
Shutter Island; mixed feelings, liked the 1st half the best, kinda disappointed with the ending-6.5/10

Agree with No Country... The ending could have been soooo much better since the build up through the movie was great! (Had to chuckle with Saturday's episode of the simpsons' where "mr Evil" knocks on the door!

Avatar. Superb movie and I may have to track down a cinema with the 3d still screening. How the fuck the oscar went to the hurt locker over Avatar is beyond me. More backroom dealing?

Kick-Ass - Violent, funny, entertaining. The wife and I both enjoyed it.

Gran Torino - I rate this movie. Finally convinced the wife to watch it, she hates Clint Eastwood, but she thought it was one of the best movies she's seen recently and is happily recommending it to everyone she knows.

Robin Hood - (the new one with Russel Crowe). Thought it was pretty good until about the last 20 minutes. Like a lot of Ridley Scott films I'm guessing the director's cut will be better than the theatrical release.

Avatar was terrible. Think i have said it before but it needs to be said again. The fancy CG distracted everyone from the horrible storyline.

Sunshine (2007) - Really recommended if you are into science fiction. It's thrilling, dramatic, quite realistic (in dramatic sense). One pf my personal favourite Si-Fi movie. Very enjoyable movie. 9/10

Just watched Watchmen on the old shiny disc machine.

Very good. Long. Good soundtrack. Great on home theatre. On the watch-again list.

    As is Old Boy.
