On a personal note: Nicole Kidman's beauty from Moulin Rouge! (2002) shines once again. In this movie, she is a rose blooming in the desert.
Also, the movie is nearly 3 hours. Might not like for those who can't sit around long enough.
Find a film called Billy Bathgate. She gets naked. Shes a real redhead.

    good movie also

    Master & Commander

    9/10, if not a 10/10

Remember seeing this at the flicks with my old man, great film, great story, great acting, great score.

Had not read any of the books before I saw this.

But I might be biased as I'm a fan of such period shows/books like Hornblower and Sharpe.

    Pulp Fiction (1994)

Wanted to see this for a long time and finally saw it. It's savage, restless and purely Tarantino. The movie may confuse some audience (I will need to watch it again to get the grip of the storyline) because of some back-and-forth scenes (I call it "The Tarantino Puzzle"). This is also Samuel L. Jackson's absolute best, forget Snakes on a plane. This is legit.
Oh, and don't forget the dialogues and quotes.

Never thought I'd say to a Tarantino Film but this is quite inspiring.

    9/10

Yep, full on 10/10 for Pulp Fiction. Tarantino's best work imho although i'll admit I haven't see all his work.

Really liked the movie (have it on my DVD shelf) but as normal it didn't do justice to the book it was based on.
The books are written in an old style English that takes a bit to wrap your head around but once you have they are a great read.

Book of Eli. 7/10-ish. Post apocalyptic (getting a little tired of that) and nearly didn't watch it when I found out it was quite religious, but glad I watched. Reasonably violent but not a balls to the wall action movie (which in itself makes it good). It even has Tom Waits playing a minor part. Caveat - i was hammered, but I found the dog.

Natural Born Killers was on my "i don't want to watch that shit" list for ages, but I'm glad I watched it in the end. Very violent, but also a very good movie.

    TRON: Legacy 3D (2010)

A cool eye-candy film blended with a bucket of CGI. It had some entertainment value (Lightcycle game scene) and the music was fantastic in my opinion. However, it's all spectacular flickering pretty little lights. This film reminded me of GIJOE: The Rise of Cobra (2009). Oh and almost forgot, the 3D effect was disappointing.

TRON: Legacy. For your eyes only.

    6.5/10

Yep could have done with a lot more bite. The story had so much more untapped potential, but that's Disney for ya.

Not a review, but a trailer

    Mega Shark Vs. Crocosaurus

I never thought they could top Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus.
