Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Bradley Cooper is superb in this movie and Robert De Niro.......well it's Robert De Niro. A very solid film with a great storyline. 8.5/10

The Thing. Kurt Russell / John Carpenter. First time I saw this movie it was truly scary.

My favourate John Carpenter movie would be 'Christine' based on the Steven King book about a possessed 1958 Plymouth Fury car. Well maybe an equal first place with The Thing.

And here's a better clip. After watching these clips I've got to buy the DVD, it's a collectable.

Interesting. SWMBO took the sprogs and they all rated it quite well(6-7:10).
I will obviously get to see it when it is out on dvd...

Probably in the cheap video bins by now
Can be watched more than once
Proof of how good it was...I paused it when I went to the bog to park my dinner.

Story telling and illustration was much better than TF2. But it's not so hard making improvement from what originally was rubbish, is it?

It's a mix between Terminator Salvation and Armageddon. Oh who am I kidding, it's Michael Bay.

Lots of nice cars. That's about the only thing I liked about this movie (and the Chicago free fall air jump).

Unless you are REALLY fussy about 3D effects, big screen and huge sound, you can let this one slide. Save your money and watch it on Blu-Ray.

The only thing that doesn't transform in this movie is Michael Bay.

Would I recommend it to my friends? No. But I'm quite sure they'll watch it anyways.
Would I watch it again? I'll watch it again when I choose to watch Transformers 2 (which is.... never?)

"and the Chicago free fall air jump", oh to be young, fit, free and not built like a blimp . The movie... same story, slightly different ending. 4/10

took the kids at the weekend and there were laughs for all... Pretty much the same as the first movie but with a different story. Good enough for a watch.

I have pretty similar things to say about Transformers 3. SFX on full meltdown it was that hard out. 6.5 out of 10.

A Roman Polanski film witch alludes to the reign of Tony Blair. Political intrigue when an ex-prime minister brings in a ghost writer to work on his memoirs.
    More information here.

This movie moves along at a regular pace (certainly not fast...) and was quite frankly, rather boring for having a few big stars on board.

Billed as the "chick's version of The Hangover".
    It is not.

Seriously, save a couple of hours of your life and do not watch this crap.

Thank fuck for dodgy downloads and not paying to watch this.

    Saw 3D - The Final Chapter (2010)

Absolutely brutal, gore and creeping. However it is not as good as the other Saw series. It is the least twisting and clever, also most of the times it's (puzzles) are more pointless and unrelevant to past series.

Too much of "been there, done that" I guess...?

    3.5/10

I could rate it lower but I don't HATE also...

    Kick Ass (2010)

Entertaining and some-what thought provoking. Worth a watch.
