The Lorax... 7.5/10. Completely over the girls head but left me with a tear in my eye... "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,Nothing is going to get better. It's not."
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

    Battleship

Cheesy, average and.... okay.... barely. Not worth the cinema money.

    4.5/10

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

The son of no one...what can I say, Pete got it...he was like who is that guy?? I reminded him it was the guy from step up 2 which we were forced to watch on new years day after a big one at our friends house because their kid loves dancing!

Pretty much says what the calibre of the movie is

    5/10

    IN time

Actually a great story line....a new take on the time storyline, could have been great but was just good, probably didn't help casting Justin Timberlake, though I enjoyed it. Wasn't overly fussed with the ending

    Perfect sense

Love ewan mcgregor, probably not how most of you have seen him
Enjoyed it...again end was a bit less than the rest of the movie, but still pretty good

The Avengers - 9.5/10. Great movie, some laughs that left me near tears, superb action, story relatively well put together given the characters it had to furnish. Definitely a big screen watch.

    saw it in 3D

loved it,and Iron Man is still a very funny guy

worst performance was by Scarlett Johansson, not because she was bad,but just because all the other characters were so good.

Good special effects but not over the top,and actual character development which is a novelty in action movies these days.

Thanks to Stan Lee(who has his usual appearance in the movie)the marvel adaptations of the comics have been done very well and faithful to the way the heroes were written in the comics for the most part, and in my opinion the Avengers is a very good effort.

    Bring on Avengers 2!

Funniest movie I have seen in ages!
    +1 skyrillion

A mate has been banging on about this, and now I can see why. Funny as hell. Best comedy I've seen in a loooong loooong looong time. A satirical take on all the blaxploitation films. Think I'm Gonna Git You Sucka but heaps heaps funnier.

Now Aunt Billy, how many times have I told you not to call here and interrupt my Kung Fu!!!

Totally agree. We wound up going to the 3D version which was OK also. I would just about go see it again on the big screen.

Given the script was co-written by Joss Whedon, and he directed, he gets a big old "Attaboy!" from me. (the BUFFY, ANGEL, FIREFLY SERENITY, DOLLHOUSE Joss Whedon)

So weird...normally you and I have quite similar taste in movies and music, granted I haven't seen it, its just the sort of thing I would never even bother with!

Grave of the fireflies - Gut wrenchingly, and sad. Saw it when I was young but now I saw it again, the feeling is totally different.

It's a story about Japanese siblings, the brother taking care of his younger sister during WW2 era.

    8.5/10
