    GN carb on FXR

SO I have just bought myself a gn250 carb to go on my fxr. It has just been cleaned/tuned (for a GN of course). What more do i need to do to get it on the fxr/ what jetting is anyone else using etc?

Standard GN jetting and a pod filter.

Well... that was easy... It was literally, take one out, put the other in same connections mostly same sizes etc.
Now just need to get a pod filter, what size/where to get from?

I am running mine open without a filter or air box.
I have had some issues with the carb coming out of the manifold, mainly during the kick start. Something to key an eye on.

Mad that it works. Every-time I messed have messed with a CV carb intake/airbox they were so temperamental I chucked it in favor of my trusty TM28. These seem to be the exception I must try one one day.

I did run it without the airbox for the first start but it sounded like it was going to eat me so i put it back on. Seems to be a bit of a hesitation down low just starting off (very slight) is that normal?

The GN carbs seem to run fine with the stnadard jetting and a generic pod filter. I'm running a cheap and nasty EMGO 48mm unit on mine with no problems to date.
