New job means more weekend rides

It is always nice to share good news with fellow bikers.

I resigned from my role with one of our border protection agencies this week to move into a fraud investigator role... no more shiftwork and back to gentleman's hours and a much better salary. As long as I am out catching the bad guys, I am as happy as a pig in mud.

My wife now wants to buy motorbike gear to join me on the road - brilliant!

More time for weekend rides.... even more brilliant!

Sounds great, it has been far too long between rides and catch ups.

I've got more time for riding, but no money, bloody redundant almost, downturn in building sucks,we had about 20 new homes to do work on last year, this year about 7and new boss is worried no doubt. The last month before he took over was the best month we had since Nov 09,at least he took me when company was sold, just hate being unemployed. He has a day each week for me,but hoping business improves when we have a home show in November, not much good for me though in limbo,at least no dependants to worry about.
