While I agree with much you have said Paul your statement at the end Highlights my whole point,It looks like a cockup because all the facts are not in the thread.
I will reiterate,Nobody has contacted MNZ so how can you say the issue was mishandled (cocked up)??

You cant impose a penalty against a member when the penalty laid down is outside the penalty mandate set out in the MNZ rule book.
Contacting MNZ now would be foolish except to relay our contempt in thier ruling but even though i dont care who i piss off (as i dont have an MNZ licence anymore so i cant be victimised by anyone ) i dont think the original timeline allowed any kind of call as they had already set down a bogus penalty seemingly without consulting the most effected parties, thats another cock up.
I have sent an email to MNZ and asked for a couple of clarifications about penalties (specific rule clauses and what they represent) but im not holding my breath for an answer as ive asked for permission to publish any reply they may send.

Going by my last experience emailing MNZ for some clarification on some issues and rules all you'll get is a load of excuses

I am sure MNZ can cancel or suspend a license, just like at work serious misconduct is a sacking offence. Whatever people may think of Jim Tuckerman, the last time I emailed a queery too him he rang me back within 1 hour with an answer. As for him abusing someone at the track that is his personality and he was voted for democratically.
Truth be known he probably said something like "get your useless broken arse over to my barbecue in the morning"

I'm sure MNZ can do anything they damn well please, I appreciate that during the National series his workload goes up, however I was told I would have a reply within 24hrs and didn't get one for over a week and only then after another email from me prompting him which would lead me to think he didn't intend to reply at all
Re abusing someone at the track if it did happen then he should be held accountable for his actions, the fact it may be his personality doesn't come into it as he is quite happy to use the "bringing the sport into disrepute" card about members comments on here and go to the extent of emailing the members clubs to warn them

Funny how you can complain, bitch and moan, and acuse people of various things but cant say you love someone! I only said it about Craig because probably no one else does!
