    NZ Champs Final round

    Hampton being the final round.

I would just like to say well done to the AMCC for running and putting on a good show at this track for the final round for the first time.

Yes some things were Not as we would have liked or hoped for or expected even, but rome was not built in a day.

Prize giving unfortunately has raised a few issues, but what is the point in saying thanks to your sponsors in front of other riders only, NOT THE PAYING PUBLIC? Never seen the sense in this part of it any way, but it has always been a tradition to get on the piss after the races any way, and thank all our sponsors in front of each other- ho hum.

    FLAGMARSHALLS

    THANKS for making it happen!

THANK F THAT PUKE DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE

Well put Shaun it was a great round and being there you can see it is going to be huge in the next couple of years.
Wouldn't be racing if it wasn't for:MotoMart, Pirelli, EBC Brakes, Ripecoffee.co.nz, Slotmedia.co.nz, Totalbodyshop.co.nz and Wurth

Yes well said Shaun, every year its going to get better as the HD develops and the club beds itself in to running the new venue.
To have somewhere as good as HD to race and a club with the personnel and experiance to put on a meeting at a new venue.......bloody brilliant.
Thaks needs to go to KBers for answering the call for extra marshalls, 31ish were needed and 50+ turned up

I think the whole racing family needs a big pat on the back..........everyone who had any input at all should take a bow, for without each person offering their time/services the sport wouldn't exist.

    Well done to all..........................

Good point Shaun. We always find it hard to get everything together in time (ie before the public leave). Not to sure of a solution but worth thinking about.

It was a great weekend, a big thumbs up for the AMCC and to Hampton Down.
The more I ride the track the more I like it, in fact it's now my favorite track.

I had the good fortune to meet the CEO of Hampton Downs after prizegiving on Sunday. What a nice guy. He listened to my comments about the circuit and was very interested in feedback. The ongoing plans for the circuit are amaising. I wasted his time for about half an hour chatting about the start/finish line position, the oppertunity to run the circuit anticlockwise, and a whole heap of other stuff as well (like extending the liquor licence for prizegivings...lol i could not get another beer....). All i can say is WELL DONE GUYS WHAT A BRILLENT EFFORT. I cant wait for the pit garages with the corperate boxes on them for next year. Oh and the low of cost to hire a apartment and stay at the circuit was fantastic for those that took the oppertunity. I will definitly be booking one for next year. All in all a brillent meeting with very few hickups.
