Red face sv1000 pack rack, need help to fit in correct place

Hi, i picked up a Ventura pack rack off tradme the guy says its for an sv1000, am having trouble working out where it fits onto the bike at the second lug, bolt hole. The lower bolt hole went on where to foot peg goes but the top hole lines up with nothing, or nothing that I can see, am about to take off the plastic cover around mdguard to see where on the frame it fits. But if someone knows and could pass on how they fitted theirs that would be great.

Just recently installed one of these on mine. The 'L' Bracket you speak of is only part of a kit.
I Have attached the installation details as the kit came with some major hardware, i think the attached installation sheets explain all.

I hope you got all the bits.

No scanner sorry so took better photos 4 u, refer attached pdfs.

Fitment was fiddly & everything is real tight fit so patience & no alcohol required but instructions where spot on !. Ventura done a good job manufacturing the hardware as the end product feels rock solid.

    Good luck !

You need to drill a couple of holes for the upper / rear bolts.
