Cbr 250 r - mc19

Okay, I've finally got round to selling this on behalf of my dad, seeing as he's upgraded to a 600 and all...

What it is, is a 1989 CBR 250 R, the MC19 model.

Goes well, he's ridden it round most of the north island with not too many worries. There were some issues with a dodgy fuel pump relay which were dealt with by fitting a new one.

It's fairly tidy, couple of small cracks in the fairing from I have no idea what, though I suspect the age of the bike may not have been kind to the plastic. I know he hasn't dropped it in the time he's owned it.

He's been pretty religious on the servicing, getting me to do an oil and filter change every 5000 km or less. Flies through WOF no worries. I'll make sure it has a current WOF for the buyer too.

He's after around $3000 for it. I'd be tempted to keep it for myself as it's a hoot to ride, but I think five bikes would be a we bit, erm, excessive...

These are very good bikes and the new owner will be really happy with it. I've got one, and apart from the fuel pump it hasn't given me any issues at all. It's worth more that what you're asking for it.
