Who really knows what Megadeath's like. Never heard them, personally. Megadeth, on the other hand... Rust in Peace will forever be the greatest album in history as far as I'm concerned.

Not that I don't like Metallica. But it's almost like they had someone good writing their music, and that person suddenly died or something. Weird really...

Awesome. Saw them when they came out to the big day out, but though it was cool I thought it would have been much better if it was just a Metallica show set up just for them. Looking forward to it.

I still haven't quite recovered from seeing that 'Some Kind of Monster' crap but I think I can put that aside. I had tickets but missed them last time....I won't do that again!

St Anger still sits alongside the rest of my collection because love it or hate it, it is still a Metallica record.

BTW If they come I'll be there. I might even wear my T from the Ride the Lightening tour 'cos that when I first saw them live c/w Cliffy RIP.
    Totally agree with you.
The "fans" who go on and on about "The Black album was the last good thing Metallica will ever do" "Nothing will ever compare to Ride The Lightning" blah blah blah need to get the fuck over it and either happily sit in the past and shut up or realise that like them the band has grown up, got older and evolved.

Again, get over it. Megadeth, pffft, the reason I didn't spell it correctly is because I don't like their music so don't care, this thread isn't about them or the Metallica that WAS, people die, shit happens, most people can move on and get over these things.

And the reason I corrected it is because I do like their music and I do care. I'm not trying to tell you that you can't like Metallica. You posted an opinion saying Megadeth was second rate. My opinion is that they're much better, and Metallica music isn't as good as it once was. I don't have to "get over it", thank you very much. I've got better things to do with my life than be told what music to like.

Consider yourself lucky, anyway. I'd sacrifice a herd of goats and at least a dozen virgins to get Megadeth to bring their Rust in Peace tour here

Let me know if you'd like me to send you my mum's collection of Bon Jovi and Poison tapes to sacrifice instead of the goats and virgins.

Eh, I'm not equipped to handle such hazardous materials.

But tell us the truth... has your mum has ever been on Rock of Love?

But it is my real hair, look see? - Sure Bret (George) Michaels (or whatever his name is). Sadly my wife got to watching it because it was so sad she wanted to see what happened next. What a dick that guy is

But as to the concerts, when and where they gonna be? Went to the disturbed show in welli a few years ago, fuck that shit was awesome, doubt metallica could live up to that, but even close would be mean cool.

Wish they would tour with the orchestra instrument players from S&M though, that was a sweet album.

Innit funny how people have differing opinions huh? apart from No leaf Clover I thought that whole S&M thing was just a way to badly remake some good songs with some dribbly string & blowy instruments.

yeh, I didnt used to be a fan of S&M, but more into symphonic metal now anyway, so it kinda grows on you. And it'd be pretty epic to hear that many stringy blowy instrument with the electricals and rums of metallica live I reckon.
