May as well... presume we're not under curfew unless we're in the lockdown zone (and we couldn't get in anyway). Also assuming BK are still running...!

So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

Nope, not I. Worked from home today and the weather is too miserable to bother heading out from here. If you do go take it easy..
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

Well, did go - saw Dave, Robert & Graham ... just had a chat & burger, and tried not to watch the drop-off of the 40' containers along the closed length of Moorhouse in front of Science Alive - looks like they're either preparing for collapse or demolition; even more of them along Madras on the way home.

Well its good to back home (in a way) My bike was all good but Frances not so good as it took a tumble and broke some fairing but still goes.

Also i have heard that The Godley house and Duvauchelle's did not make it and are being demolished. This is from the guy who sets up the gas for the beer lines.

    They will be missed.....

At least something is still as it was, people can only take so much change, starting wed nite rides from somewhere else might just tip them over the edge

Godley House has a red sticker on it and is fenced off, Duvauchelle Pub has yellow 'danger' tape around it on the carpark side but didn't see the front close enough to be sure it was the whole building but it probably is. Others were taking photos when we turned behind it on the dirt road today.
So both the buildings are in trouble, but whether they will be demolished or can be rescued in some fashion I don't know.

Got a pic of Godley house but it's hard to see the cracks in the photo...

im told its reparable, but as it is owned by the council, and the leaseholders dont have much cash,it will probably be demolished due to lack of interest/will/money.sad really

Hasn't been any maintenance stuff since the final held on the 1st September and people have started riding again instead so it might be time to have this thread locked off and crank up the new WNR thread a couple of weeks early.
