Hell no,we should be moving forward (in regards to having take your eyes off the road to read instruments), not backwards... sooner there's an open standard for bike and helmet manufacturers to follow regarding instruments on your visor, the better.

Spectacles, testicles, watch, wallet and speed. See you can do it all in milliseconds.
Visor is that one of those new fangled clear things they are putting on them flash new saftee lids is it? You know me I am hell anti tek.
Is anybody going Wednesday? I would like to pop in for a while for nothing better than I have fixed the hub on the boxer and it is probably going to be too wet to ride into town tomorrow night.
Not going if it's like this... I know I'm a whimp, but working on a wet bike ain't no fun. And I've been commuting on the bike anyway. And it's getting longer to dry the gear out!! ... Plus predicted gale force southerlies will probably be a bridge just too far, but we do have to discount for MetServices' grasp on reality with that prediction too.
I guess you'd be OK if you'd bought an Isetta, instead of the sidecar?

Believe it or not I might actually make it!! Probably in the cage but thats better than nothing!!
Gold Diggers....like hookers just smarter
Same Liv, probably be along in the cage! I don't mind riding in the rain (done that a few times now) but it's the combination of dark, wet white lines that doesn't excite me much.![]()

Have the afternoon off but am starting early in the morning and have other commitments so will be missing out tonight.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
Man you Kiwis are tough! I didn't even check to see if it was on tonight, I just thought, Nah can't be!I just don't want my sheepskin seat getting all wet!!
I did ride across town yesterday to collect a (small) lathe in my backpack in the rain- not sure if that counts as 'Kiwi tough' or 'Crazy Pom'?

Lathe.
Backpack?
How small is small?
And what do you use it for?
(Just being nosey)
Decided to crank out the reps at the gym, rather than turn the crank on the bike. Just about over the drought-breaking rain, I reckon...
Respect to anybody that got there.
Technically it's only a 'lathe attachment' for a black and decker drill which I have - it's a wood lathe-type so probably not much use for fixing bike parts - even if I knew how toHow small is small?
And what do you use it for?But it was only 5 bucks
I just wanted to see what it could do - I'm planning to make a small model steam engine, so it might come in handy.
I can haz twisties!
I salute your patience then sir (model steam engine)
Actually there is some really interesting stuff being done with Stirling Cycle Engines. One day when I retire p'haps...
