The big kids made me jump off the shed roof with an umbrella after seeing (supposedly) done in a cartoon when we were kids!
It didn't work!
It didn't turn inside out, it just tipped me up and slapped me down on my back and I got winded and thought I was going to die!
When I was at high school in the ATC, I was wearing a parachute when a big Northwest gust picked me up and slung me into tree hedge!
Have always been a bit cautious about parachute's since then, jumping out of aeroplanes doesn't quite cut it for me, to each their own.
