All in all, a pretty good day on the Coromandel

Well, it doesn't get much better than this! A ride on the Street Triple from Coromandel to Thames and back this morning on a quick shopping mission. This afternoon, a couple of hours of fishing just outside Coromandel harbour with my wife. She got 8, I got 4 (par for the course), but I got the biggest - no idea what it weighed. Both of us had our lines broken too - would have loved to see what was on the end!

Yup, not living in the city sometimes has its advantages

P.S Excuse my sartorial inelegance - it's my lucky fishing clobber

Thanks! Snapper is $26/kg in the shops for what it's worth although just being on the water is good enough. Being retired, I normally fish or ride the Coro Loop on a weekday. Hardly anyone about, unlike the weekends!

Hi Kev, I'd imagine your cat is probably doing pretty well on all those protected species up behind your place. Besides, our 2 cats stand in line as soon as we appear with the boat
