A certain finance company

Some of you may remember the crap handed out to me by a Finance Company I was financing a couple of years ago? Had to do with a final settlement payment I asked for and got, I payed it and then they want a $3.5+ more about a month later?
Well they contacted me yesterday (and the day day before but I ignored them) so I rang then back.
It has something to do with my account (which no longer exsists) so off I went and started my whole story all over again with someone who knew nothing of it. I thought, fuck here we go again!
But no, seems I have overpaid them by a large sum of money and they want to pay it back!!!!
I just need proof of payment by way my bank statements of a few months in 08'.
They now have those statements.....
Shall wait and see.....

If it's the Certain Finance Company I think it is, don't hold your breath waiting for them to process it.

I had such a shit time with trying to get this all sorted two years ago...
The people involved then are (I think) no longer with the company.

They (at the time) denied knowledge of my request for a settlement figure. My phone records showed I had indeed called them when I said I did, but they had no records to match. Seems I never called them, ever!

This new person seems ligit and concerned abotu the whole thing and the amount is substantial, which Anne and I always suspected.

Like I said, I shall wait and see.

They managed to loose $10k that Mrs Mully had put in their bank - then sent abusive letters saying it was overdue.

She got a bank statement and took it to their office as proof - Rang the guy she had given it to an hour later and he denied ever seeing her. It took weeks for them to find the money ("Oh look, there it is. In our fucking bank account") and then they tried to charge her interest (for the time they'd lost it) and penalties (for it being overdue).

We refuse to use "A Certain Finance Company" (tm) now.

I wont ever need them again, I only returned the call to say ''dont fuckin ring me again''.
The settlement figure I asked for and was told and then paid into thier settlement account, was apparently not banked at all, and was simply put onto my account.

Two years down the track, new people at the helm and it seems there might have been some anomaly funds directing going on.

What was their interest rate to you? Tell them you want 15% interest for two years (compounded daily) on your money.

(If that works, I want commission)
