Great day indeed. Good to catch up with the lot of you, and meet some new friends too. Loved being at the back and watching all those hot arses up in front - hard life, but someone has to do it

Nice work Nigel for coming from Palmy to catch up and ride with us. Lovely to have you along, and hope you enjoyed the day.

Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome from that accident we stumbled across on the way back.

thanks Katie, I had a bloody awesome ride! absolutely loved it. It was just what I needed to get the confidence back after a 10 mth break from riding! it was great being led around those fantastic wairarapa roads.

that accident didn't look too good.. big plumes of black smoke etc

so yeah, nice to meet all of you and thanks for letting me join in. just over 500 km for me today... body is a bit tired (not used to it)
    cheers.

Your massive fail took ALL the pressure off the rest of us, so we were most impressed
Cheers I was trying not to piss off the locals but totally was laughing at myself I think it was a 100 pointer, was great to meet you Quasi see you next time!!

That accident was not good hopefully nothing bad for those involved--that corner gives me the goosebumps everytime.

    Cheers

Sorry Gaz but that was more than 100 points for that epic fail.

People were coming out of the coffe shops watching us get ready to leave, and
I swear every single one of them had a chuckle at your expense.

You saw me laughing so you know I thought it was funny!
White Trash Pearls of Wisdom #2654 - Refering to yourself in the 3rd person: The only thing gayer, would be being caught handcuffed around a public toilet bowl, an apple stuffed in your mouth and George Michael administering an epic caneing to your exposed cheeks while Boy George documents the event on a handicam.

What a great day. good pack of riders heading out to Riversdale and back...

Have not seen any news of the incident near Gladstone ?? I hope it was not serious. (I suspect if it was, then it would have made the media by now)

Had a good play on the way back with an Audi 8 and 911 Turbo...they were going hard...passing cars up the main street in Featherston!!! I thought this looked interesting, so tagged along for a play...until the hill.

    Then it was lol.

I recommend a total product recall!

Obviously a faulty design...... Totally unacceptable safety performance level.

Ah well, seeing as we are picking on Harley's, I came across someone's signature on this site which goes something like this:
"Harley Davidson, the most efficient way to turn petrol into noise without making horsepower"
Brought a smile to my face

Not good to hear about the weekend's accidents though, Harley's or no Harleys, we all share the same love of the road and crossing centrelines and following each other too closely is not limited to any one particular type, brand or breed of motorcycle/motorcyclist.

Yes - as a design, human beings leave a lot to be desired...
