Pierre's a leader not a follower! It's just really hard if you don't know where you're going.

Anybody from Kapiti going over I'll be gassing up at mobil around 9:15.

What bike are you looking at to replace the 675 Pierre?

Looking at a Suzuki GSF1250SA or a GSX1250FA (both very similar)
Something a bit more upright and suitable for touring and riding two up.

Lot of bike for the money aren't they. I've been trying to persuade Darryn to get a KTM SMT because I fancy a ride on one but he's not biting. It could be just the bike for you.....

Thanks folks, I enjoyed that... and especially to Andrew and James with whom I think I covered every millimetre of every southern 'Rapa Rd in the arvo that we hadn't covered in the morning. Outstanding.

Hey Braydon -we can cater for all level of riders. If you want to come along, should have no trouble finding someone to mentor you.Also check out wellington riders on Facebook. The pics are from the ride yesterday,which was a mix of Kapiti, wellington and wairarapa riders. This included a couple of riders who had there first ride over the Takas.Its more about fostering the spirit of good sensible riding and comradeship, rather then about a race. Thats what the track is for

Never been on a ride with the Kapiti people before but would be keen if it's even close to dry this sunday.

Missed most of the summer rides due to other commitments but all done with working evenings and weekends now...
