Why thank you! Very kind of you to say that (I'll pay you later).

Will post up some pics of me bike soon when I get myself sorted. Actually, haven't taken any yet. Yikes, slack! Will hopefully be able to get out for ride with you all in the weekend.

Haha Eyegasim..... I can safely say now that yes I can keep up and it feels AMAZING! Just don't follow me as I will take you down ever wrong road possible and still turn up last!

I noticed my spelling error... I meant to say "It was brilliant", not "I was"....

Sure sure, honest mistake no doubt!! I'm sure someone thought you were brilliant, if they could actually see you when you flew past as a blurr.

I wouldn't know, had my eyes closed and didn't see a thing whilst hanging on for dear life!

WELLINGTON Saturday 15 May ride north Kapiti - Manfield - Rimutakas - Haywards - Paekakariki - Kapiti Loop

Startpoint - SH1 outside the Waikanae New World Supermarket (petrol station) car park at the northern end of township.

    Departure: 10am sharp

    Ride plan... (tbc)

Waikanae - some bits in between - Manfeild racetrack - some other bits coming back - Rimutakas - Haywards - Paekakariki Hill Road - Waikanae.

All riders very welcome - open invitation for all bike types and people to join us for a little sojourn.

Join at any point - just let me know where beforehand (0212510017).

It would be nice to generally keep the group together, but feel free to ride your own ride or tag along behind but we will stop for catch up points if needed to regroup if we get spread out.

I will confirm all details closer to the time. No set return time.

Maybe a coffee here: Ballance Cafe Pahiatua

Hey Cam = looking good. I will prob leave from Rapa, so can pick up riders from Rimutex and Haywards, then over Paekak (cos i am now a Paekak slapper, thanks Devo), to Waikanae. anyone seen weather for Saturday

And - just note to all - these is a great group of riders, no attitude, no agendas. we look after all riders, all abilities, all sizes, shapes and colours, but if italian, i will take special care....

Sounds bloody good indeedy. I'm in!

Quasi, would be keen to be picked up by you at the Rimutex on your way through (good thing your good looking!). And I heard you were a Paekak slapper - good girl, I expect nothing less!

I'm excited, looking forward to stretching my legs again.

Nice long ride, will be good to be able to keep up - well, I'll try.

Yea mate considering what we all had done during the day the ride home was a slow walk in the park
What a Fantastic day it was and even better we survived and came out with so much
Learned some new skills. I was turning into the apex of a corner too quickly
Didn't realize how quickly the bike would pull up until we did that braking test
Amazing how fast those corners arrive when your hooning down those straights
Couldn't believe I did around 100km on that track or at 3km per lap equivalent 33 laps
Dont tell anyone else about the www.prorider.co.nz courses or they all want to go
I'm so lucky Katiepie let me know on Saturday's ride that a couple of spots had come available (Big thanks Katiepie)
Felt naked without the mohawk (thought I had a bald spot on my helmet)

Cant get over how many nice people ride bikes and so cool to see so many smiles

When are you keen for another social ride. I'll make any excuse to explore

Just hearing about this pro rider thing myself, sounds right up my alley, hopefully there will be another soon. I'll be up for another social ride, I have precious little time for going on decent rides so it helps to have a good well organised ride with good people.
