The dear old Triumph just kinda ambles along so I was thinking of leaving here at 9:45. top of takas by 11, Martinborough ?? - quick bite and homewards ho. Really, I was probably not going to go as far as that and you can speed off on the trip home any stage along the way..

    But I not married

Seriously though - where are some decent rides on your side. apart from up and down the Piekok. Up and down SH1 seems to be the best on offer.

Good news - I'm in! May even head out to Kaipit and ride from there if anyone is leaving from the New World? Otherwise, see you at the Rimutex.

But I r married - and intend to stay that way!! ;-)

Seriously - not much fun rides around here without a haul on SH1 to get there. Come some longer days we could turn on an event for you strange foreign types.... I'd do it now but we are not ready, the locals are still trying to weave a border post out of hemp and our mounted patrols are finding the Llamas a bit frisky all of which resulted in a headache so they are having a smoke and a wee lay down..

I think the Pram dangly bit riders are leaving from the Pram Railway Station, not sure if any coming from Waikanae.

Yea the coast is to close to the hills for any good bits and piekok is overrated slightly, thats why I'm heading north to the mighty manawatu. Straight up SH 57 to Ashurst then doing Pohangina valley to Apiti and then up to Mangaweka and back down V hill
