    Looks good Quasi Have to say though if it was me would have a look at spooners hill rd and IMO saddle rd is way better than the gorge

    Its weird how google is so inaccurate with its time I mean no way it takes that long even with breaks .I did a return trip at xmas through the rapas down vhill and back to levin google said something like 5hrs or so and even with two stops it was no where near that so if youre like me I dont look at the time when planning rides

    haha yea that sounds about right. I was looking at going down to Chch soon, google said it would take me over 10 hours for those 450km. How crazy is that. Btw, totally offtopic, what is the best way to go down to chch on a bike? Never been to the south island before.
    Life is just too damn short for if's and maybe's..

    I've never gone coastal but if theyre coming this way I can only hope that I can be an honourary member
