For heavens sake carla Im bloody hopeless on a pc, cant scroll ur map, Yep back b4 dark is the plan, what u reckon Sat or Sunday.

Skip and i can't make that ride as much as we would like to come, But Priorities first Its the 2nd round of the "Vic series" two day meeting, and were both racing.

Looks good Quasi Have to say though if it was me would have a look at spooners hill rd and IMO saddle rd is way better than the gorge

Its weird how google is so inaccurate with its time I mean no way it takes that long even with breaks .I did a return trip at xmas through the rapas down vhill and back to levin google said something like 5hrs or so and even with two stops it was no where near that so if youre like me I dont look at the time when planning rides

haha yea that sounds about right. I was looking at going down to Chch soon, google said it would take me over 10 hours for those 450km. How crazy is that. Btw, totally offtopic, what is the best way to go down to chch on a bike? Never been to the south island before.
