Okay - how does this work... Avalon Duckpond at 9am - Pauhatanui Inlet (just by the gas station) at 9:15am - J'ville (via inlet and SH1) carpark behind McD's at 9:35am - then on to Makara?? Cloggy you in?? DJ

Hey guys, just a word of warning, I went out to Makara last week from J'ville and contractors are putting a pipeline all the way out to the turn off to the beach, the road is covered in loose grit and dodgey sealing most of the way.

Yep, see you all at the duckpond at 9am. Just come home and the weather in the hutt itself is overcast, south towards Makara and Wellington it is looking good. Could see the inland Kaikoura mountains coming over the Wainui Hill.

I left pram at 8.55 and picked up the crew at pahautanui no probs.
except I just joined them to the mana roundabout then back over the hill and home just before the rain came.
