10am duckpond then up the hill? (10.15 haywards if we can tempt any coasty cruisers out?)

11am summit then the 'rapa? (got any nice roads Q?)

mmmmm - only the best roads.

have got people coming for lunch, but a wee ride over the hill prior may just be on order

Hey Patrick - sorry we couldnt quite connect yesterday, We kept thinking of you, just half hour behind us, at each stop. Katies sense of direction just about as good as yours I think

It was an awesome day out there and a great ride but there will be plenty more.

Hey guys and gals. Would have loved to join you today, but alas I have literally been dropped on a tropical island by an Australian Navy boat, with food and water for 5 days. ... I am looking for my friend Wilson....round like a soccer ball....lol!!

. I am currently on Viatapu, the largest (but least populated) island in the Tuvalu group. Sitting way north of Fiji, and just south of the equator. You may see on TV3 news over the next few days / weeks that NZ Army is doing an exercise over there. i am part of the recce team and now just have to wait until the remainder of troops and equipment turn up.

I have just walked from the jetty / landing area, to our base at Motoufoua high school. Weather is 32 deg and about 60% humidity.... so it is like Gisborne at xmas!! The sea water is like swimming in a lukewarm bath, and the tropical fish are amazing!!

Looking forward to catching up with you all on the weekend of 17 - 18 July.....

    Ride safe all...

Hey Ross - you have no idea what you are missing over here. The best riding weekend for ages. Been up and down the Hill a few times already. Now -where too next?

Staying on this island for the duration. I hope to get my fishing line out this afternoon!! Its a tough life....waiting here. It is a custom here that NO work is done on Sundays. I would hate to upset the local population by doing any work today!!

It is only sunny there this weekend because I am not there!!
