hi Chris - was great to ride with you and to meet some new faces. The day was to good to waste so Bianca and i did the whole ride again, but as i entered Greytown, discovered my rear tyre was rapidly going flat
All sorts of knights in shining armour appeared and soon waved a sad farewell to great yella as one of the aforementioned knights took her off to Masterton on the back of his ute for some first aid. Well - hope i see her again.
Another lovely knight pillioned me back to Martinborough on his 1098. Forever grateful, but those bikes sure arent made for pillions
I have learnt some lessons here - mainly keep bike first aid stuff on me. No good sitting at home in my garage![]()
Late as usual, but managed to get to Castle Point, and heaps of other places to. Did about 670 k today so a good days riding. sorry I missed catching up with the usual crew, but another day will have catch up.

Good on yah Col - was a magic day on the road and looking good again today.
I forgot just how nice a cruise that Castle Point road is. Will have to do that again. No bike ride today as the chores still need doing. Damn.
