That last picture - Kapiti wannabes I reckon...... Come on lads and ladies, knit yerself a tofu teeshirt and join the up and coming folks of raumati South where you will fit in better the less you fit in anyplace else ;-)

Speaking of which, having had a moi on the couch, its time to get me drinking trousers on and snuffle off...

Hey folks - what an awesome day on the Road.

Apologies to any that we lost and cheers to those that lost themselves and found themselves again

A question for you all - Why is it that the Real Kapiti Riders need a Real Rapa Rider to organise a Kapiti ride??

    Your turn next time?

Fantastic ride today, thoroughly enjoyed myself despite suddenly finding myself in Masterton instead of the gladdy. Those roads were absolutely brilliant and must do them again soon. Good to make some new friends.

As i said i guess, You can take the girl outta kapiti but you carn't take the Kapiti outta the girl.

    Seriously tho, great job Q

Might have to do a round the ranges ride in the future so all the non Kapiti Kapiti riders actually ride through Kapiti.

Nah - it was a terrible organisation job - we ended up with half the riders we started with

Round the ranges sounds great - want me to organise

i guess that turn at wairarapa lake to Lake Ferry must be somehow hidden and needed a secret password to open that nobody told me.. passed it a couple of times I reckon, but I would swear it was just a straight road with just gravel paths at the sides.. Hopefully we'll do that road again sometime and I'll pay real good attention then
It all worked out in the end though, and a great day it was. Nice to see all of you again. When is the next ride going to be?
I need some dayfillers as these so I won't get bored during the holidays, haha

Yeah - good call but be fair, you did see what happened when I tried to organise the departure spot / time on this side didn't you? I mean, just think what could have happened if I'd tried to organise anything else....

'anyway organisin stuff is wimmins works. Us men prefer just to stand about and let others admire our rugged good looks and sexy leather clad bums......

haha.. mine tops out at ~120/125.. I've ridden a fair bit of the way full-throttle. That might be the reason why my tank was empty sooner than I expected

Lovely day out on the roads. Sorry we lost you Neshi, but we did wait for half an hour for you Well done for catching us in Martinborough.

Ahhh that lemonade and bread was worth the wait at the white swan. It was nice to sit in the one spot for just a minute. Great turn out at the start, it seems that winter is, on occasions, still turning it on for us. Very greatful to be able to get back out on the bike.

Mmmm will have to re-think heading into a U-turn like that again. The other biker coming the opposite way had such a giggle at me stuck! But not as much of a giggle that I had. Couldn't have stuffed that one up more if I tried.

Lets see if the sun pokes its head out next weekend.

really appreciate you coming to find me, and you guys waiting. I'm sorry it was in vain.
just my own stupid fault though. I should have waited for you when we met katie, but I just went on, thinking I'd see the turnoff that I missed initially, eventually.
