Venue, well, I have one in mind which is that place, damn, whats the name, it used to be Paris, but then got gutted with fire and is now something else.

If there are any better suggestions, just yell out, or type, you can choose.

    Hows that for a plan?
    Book 'em Danno, I'm in!
Sounds like a great opportunity to meet some more crazy KB'ers!

I don't consider myself to be crazy but others may disagree.

    Disturbed maybe.

Watching this thread with interest but unfortunately may be able to attend.

Will there be any non alchohic refreshments? Nice link Stonechucker. I have trouble holding down adult drinks.

Will there be a ride the next day ? I haven't riden in about 2 weeks I like the heater in the car and don't want to upset the neighbours with my early starts.

Is BugJaz really moving to OZ?

How much does a main cost? I'm just a poor boy from a poor family

    Bump this thread

Yes there will be non-alcoholoic drinks, I will be drinking them too.
Not sure about a ride, you staying the night? If so, we can make one!
Same, I drive by car too, but for the radio! Been about 2 weeks now since I saw my bike (I think it's red, but can't be sure).
Yes, Jaz is moving to Aus

Ahh..not too sure about that. I ended up getting Steak & Guiness pie for about $13 and that was pretty good.

Only because the pie is the only way I can have beer!!!

I work just a few doors away - I'll see if I can get a copy of their menu today and post some sample prices.

We won't be up for a ride the next day as we're heading north for the long w/end. We may leave after work Friday (in which case we won't be at dinner) or else first thing Sat AM. (we're taking the car)

I might end up "taking the car" as well! Feel guilty taking car after all this site is meant to be about bikes and here I am thinking about attending events in a cage. It's sacrilegious (correct spelling)

Never fear about that, I have no bike, its been turned into a toaster. So on long bike rides, I put on a good pair of running shoes and try to keep up. Makes it much easier when there are stationary events (less running)

Looks like theres plenty of interest. I've removed my name from the list because something has come up that may stop me from getting there.
Thats not to say I wont be there but I don't want to add my name and then not show. I'll know closer to the time.

    Regards to all.

Just to confirm it all now.

Starting 5:30pm on Friday the 3rd of June @ Dog & Bone Lambton Quay
The booking has been made for 15 people with the possibility of it going over 20. Thought I would give the guy fair warning.

If you arrive there before me, which I doubt that you will, the booking is under Sean McD, yeah, I know, didn't occur to me to make it for Kiwibiker.

    Oh well...See you there...
