How come you can't take the wife on the back of your bike....?
Cheers for the welcome, wifey gets to look after the kids All I have to do is take her out for dinner on Saturday night so it works out ok.

She has been on the bike only once twice, once when I did the Westpac charity ride, and the other when we went for a coffee up in Parakai, she is still a bit nervous about it, but it will grow on her, as i keep telling her
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

I was thinking of passengering my girlfriend and bringing her along on this ride, but she didnt want to come. After she crashed her scooter and total rode it off, she is abit off riding bikes.

Hope the weather is fine this Sat. The forecast is not too crash hot.

You should bring her. It will be a slow ride anyway.

    Sutage:

You can either meet limmy at Mt Wellington Caltex or follow instructions below.

    1) Get on to SH16
    2) Follow that on to SH1
    3) Exit "South Eastern Highway" there will be a split - bear left....
    4) Follow that road, straight at all the lights until you go over the bridge. The next lights turn RIGHT.
    5) RIde to the end and you will see lots of shops, pak n save will be on the Right Hand side. You will see Dunkin donuts just before.

My number is on the first post, if u get lost, give me a text / call and we'll come find u.

The more you take her for rides, the more she will like riding....
and then we can talk her into getting her own bike to ride....

Ninjaboy has pointed this out to me. Traffic in that car park will be a nightmare, so the meeting place in Howick has been changed!

Just know that the Botany carpark can get mighty busy even that early. If the turn out is anything like last weekend it could be a bit of a logistical nightmare mmoving through the carpark.
    Thanks Ninjaboy for that update!

You can see Botany shopping centre on your right hand side. As the road splits, bear left and that is "Chapel Road". Look for the BP, should be about 500m on the left.
