    This chick

Did you like episodes 1 and 2?

After all the hype building episode 1 up to be so great, I had to go see it twice because I couldn't believe how bad it was... I thought maybe the first time I saw it I was too tired or something and didn't get it.

I saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on tuesday (cheap day at the movies : ) and thought it was pretty darn good. It's totally different to the books, well, the overall storyline is. It's like they've taken some of the classic bits out of the books and put them together to make a different story, I thought it worked well .

[edit: despite not liking episodes 1 and 2 much (they're kinda entertaining, and the yoda fight in episode 2 was hilarious ) I'm definately going to see episode 3 sooner or later...]

I thought the movie on tele the other night was a low point in the series so far. I didn't relaise the special effects had come so far in making the actor appear wooden.

I'm hoping that 3 is going to be better than 1 & 2 as I thought they were pants. Apparently though in an interview with Lucus he said that the older generation prefered 4,5 & 6 and the younger 1 & 2. So to those of you that are under or over 30 do you agree?

I think I will be going to see it on the Tuseday special

Depends on the kind of movie and where/who they are kissing.

    Re: Kissy Stuff

I don't remember any kissy stuff in episode 1??? And there was kissy stuff in episode 6 (Princess Leia and Han Solo) and Episode 2 (Which bit it big time cept for Yoda going medieval ) But I think that episode 3 is definitely a "big screen" movie. The action scenes are AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME!!

The fights are just so well choreographed and there are lots of them. You get to see how Annikan becomes Darth Vader from the name, the personality to the dress up. A lot of plot holes were filled for me with this movie....the only problem I had was with DV doing a primal scream....didn't suit his new character....but seeing a lotta New Zealanders throughout the movie was a little funny too. But over all...I think this is the better of the three new ones.

Did I mention that I think R2D2 rocks

Oh, and yeah...Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy wasn't as good as I thought it would be, although the scene of the worlds being built was humourous and really awe inspiring....other than that...for the first time ever from me...I really did prefer the books and the TV series...I'm glad I didn't have to pay to see it.

Yehaw Pah...Saw this yesterday, had to fend through the crowds to get in, 10 people were a lot for a screaning I thought. With the opening titles I could feel the pang of excitement rush through my vains again. I was alive. Until Hayden Christianson started talking, it was at this point I would have preferred watching a lump of wood. Wait, that is the best way to describe his acting. Wooden.
Darth Vader ended up being a pansy. Palpatine went Postal, but anyone watching the previews knew this anyway! And Yoda, alas poor Yoda. Feel a great disturbance in the force I do.

But hey, much better than the last two! Darker, edgier, more evil, however it still has a betty crocker feel to it.
    This is who we are
