Bike Wreckers - Chain for MC22

    Hello people,

    Im after a 428pitch 136link chain for an MC22 Honda CBR250 - don't need a new one.

Tried a few wreckers (Atomic, Bike Busters and Davey Motorcycles) but with no luck...can anyone recommend a good wrecker, or maybe someone might even have a spare!

    Cheers!
    Tim

If you're going to keep it, then definitely. Generally you replace the sprockets at the same time too.

where are you that it's that much for a chain?George the mc doctor quoted me 97$ about 6 months back for a chain for the mc22..i think cycletreads should only set you back about 160 or so as well?

    ^ Aw really?!

I asked a few companies (I won't name and shame as they look after me for other stuff) and I got $269 for a chain and sprocket set, and $280 for a chain only!

lol well think about that?it doesn't really make sense that it'd be more expensive for the set than the chain itself, even if it's a x link one compared with a heavy duty one...

    Make sense ? lol Oooops
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Awesome - how is it that I spend all morning shopping around and only get prices over $250 when a short message to here gets me prices I can live with.

I went and bought another bike instead.
