    Hi

Where we thinking about going this weekend? I'm still recovering from the flu which has really taken its toll on me. That and riding the old bike to the brass sick.

So I would like a short ride? DH or Wet's is fine with me?

Lets see what the weather is like. I want a short ride for the same reasons.

It's been 3 weeks since I've had the honda out and I've got cabin fever!!!!
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

I can't go that long without a ride. When I was working overseas I used to rent a bike for the weekend just so I could get out on the road for a few hours.

I have a short Brass video to show you. Might bring my laptop if the weather is not raining.

I guess I'm just a woose then, because if it's too cold or too wet, I turn into a chicken (squark!)

A BRASS video, a short one at that..........Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......... Why not transfer the BRASS video onto a plastic dvd so I may watch it in the warmth!!!!

My understanding of "Wets" route, and I'm sure someone will correct me, Colombo St, Dyers Pass Rd, Summit Rd to Evans Pass, Port, round the bays, Gebbies Pass, back to town via Halswell/ Old Taitap Rd.

This Saturday we could use the first part of Wets, stopping at the Wheatshief, or Godley House. Depending on weather of course.

I like the ride to DH and I love the view etc from Godley House but find the atmosphere and service a bit Blehhhhhh.
Anyone else find that or is it just me (might as well paint a target on my forehead huh?)

I like the sound of your 'composite' ride - so long as all the walkers, MTB folks, paragliders and other assorted riff raff don't get the hump about nasty motorcycles spoiling their serenity.

Dyers pass has a little grit on it but its manageable.

Godley house has crap service, I believe the owners are looking to sell.

Im in but I won't be riding back into town.

Have they added more grit to Dyers? Last weekend it was only a bit on 2 -3 corners near the top on the town side.

Weather looks good, so I'm almost definately in for a ride on sat. Leaving from 1200 from BK? I might not make 1130 but I should be there before 1200

What's Evan's pass looking like? I'd go and find out for myself but it's much easier to have others do it for me.
