    I'd be a starter , think a earlier leaving time and maybe meeting point of yaldy pub or caltex yaldhurst be better for a longer ride at this time of year

    spring is just round the corner , lots of lambs about and hills showing a bit of green ,

    For those of you who are keen (or mad) I can slip the boat in and take you for a quick waterski on your way to lunch??? Just need a couple of volunteers to do the paddling!!!

    Don't forget about that dairy conversion on sh1 at rangitata that has a overhead winch line on its irrigation pond for towing water skiers, see they even have jump ramps now too.

    I have another ride on so i guess will have to wait for the weekend and see what happens with weather but yip I like the idea a lot.

    Agree, but before you get too sad have a look at the in-depth projections at

    and cycle thru the midday-6pm pages for Sat - I'd probably survive 0.5mm of rain (and the winds don't look bad either, dunno where they get their Chch forecast from at all!)

    Guess it will just be wait-&-see.
