Unsealed and a little challenging is a good description, several easy fords and one potentially bigger one included.

Same. Today is what yesterday was supposed to be (according to midweek forecast).
Got myself free of other commitments by early afternoon and went for a blast to try fresh front tyre. Awesome!
Longwheelie had been giving me a few riding tips to try - Cheers

There is no reason why I couldn't do the leada valley in my landrover, is there?

Your challenge is to justify your landrover as an honourary motorcycle in less that 50 words...

That sounds like the opposite of a motorcycle.

It's a pity my XL isn't road legal, it would be good to get out for a decent off road mission somewhere. That and the fact that it leaks more oil than it burns petrol at the moment, might have to drag it into town one wed nite when the weather's too crap for mountain biking and get some help to de-engine it so I can fix it.

I would be keen to go through the Lee on the Tiger. If this weather lasts could be worth a look before winter... instead of waiting for spring. River will probably be higher in spring than it will be now

hopefully it's packed down a bit, I went over there a while ago on the XJ when it was freshly graded with about an inch of loose crap on the top. Was interesting.

There was about half an inch of mud in the top third of the road that was interesting.

It was slow as the bike has bugger all suspension, and 30's technology brakes, but was otherwise fine. Thinking about doing the Haka on the way to the brass in a couple of weels now.

Jacksons has gone to hell since the new owners took it over, it's just not the same now.

I take it you mean Lees Valley???????? And I think your Landy would make a good support vehicle!!!!
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Yes I was thinking about Lees Valley.

My old landy has taken a bit of venison from those hills over the years.

It looks like there is a lot of interest in this run. Pick the day and lets do it. Would you like me to bring the BBQ and stuff on the day and do a lunch for everybody somewhere?

Can you get out the top end of the valley back onto the main road?
