Not sure on that one....Im currently looking at several but 200 - 250cc range. The PGO-Gmax, Gilera Runner or Honda Dylan. The prices are high tho
It is entirely possible to teach an old blond new tricks!!!
was it a Paiggio Zip? review here
A mate has one, but ended up dropping bigger engine in it
--Edit--
LOL read too quickly and thought you wrote 50cc.
Watch out for tow ropes and quickly braking cars
Piaggio do a 500cc X9, also do 250cc X7 (X9 on TM at the mo). Gilera do an awesome looking 500cc one as well

The Gilera 500cc thing is very, VERY vibey.
Why not try a Japanese one? The 400cc Burgmans are better in every respect.
Unless you're a homosexual. In which case a 500cc Vespa is perfect
edit.. or a girl.. obviously..
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
Hey Ratti, theres a great scooter shop in Wanganui next time you are up there. I've been thinking of doing a day trip up there cos none of the Welly shops have what I'm looking at except for the Honda.

Latest motorcycle trader has a review of the Gilera GP800 in it....for a large sized scooter thats gotta be fun...70 odd horsepower....mmmm can see myself on a scooter like that just for the grin factor
ADVrider site has a great scooter forum with lotsa stuff on the big scooters and photos.....they seem very popular in the states

There are a few 500cc "Piaggio" machines, badged as all kinds of things... MP3 500 aka Gilera Fuoco. X9, Carnaby (iirc) probably the later is what you are looking at? or the X9... X9 is a straight up good peice of kit, havn't ridden the Carnaby but looks like a big pimpn tank... should be... um... comfy? if a bit of a whale.
its an x9..ll bought and paid for.
Had a chat with Pete at WMC and it was a Gilera he had there, but it had sold.
500cc scoot, its hilarious to ride. super grin factor and a nice change from a bike. Rides a lot more like a bike than I thought it would. and it is way cool to pass a car on the Hayward hills on a scoot...
