FFM helmet/visor

I have a perfectly serviceable but older FFM helmet, a Rapier (they didn't have a 'Rapist') and while I think there's plenty of life left in the helmet it really needs a new visor. I've tried several places but have been told it's "too old". Ok, it's probably getting on in years (maybe seven) but it's never been dropped or involved in a crash (I know, I bought it new) so thought that it would be worth hunting down a visor for it.

Anyone out there work in a shop that might have an old stock visor or know where there might be one?

At the risk of being shot down in flames - might be time to consider getting a new helmet anyway. There is a school of thought that helmets shouldn't be kept longer than 5 years as the energy absorbing foam can loose its qualities.
